Ft. Sumner '12 Campaign

ProtoEXIST2 carrying two 256cm^2 advanced imaging CZT detectors (0.6 mm pixel and 2.5 mm pixel) was launched on Oct 10th, 2012 from Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. A 29M cubic balloon carried the payload up at about 37 km above the ground at around 10 am local time, and the flight last about 8 hours. All the detector systems worked without a problem through the flight. Launch video: A | B
