Ft. Sumner '09 Campaign

ProtoEXIST1 carrying 256cm^2 advanced imaging CZT detectors (2.5 mm pixel) was launched on Oct 9th, 2009 from Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. A 39M cubic balloon carried the payload up at about 33 km above the ground at around 10 am local time, and the flight last about 7 hours. All the detector systems worked without a problem through the flight. 10/02/2009: Getting the payload ready for upcoming launch attempts.
