ROSAT vs. Chandra IDs

2´ × 2´ optical DSS-II images around each ROSAT-detected source above.
The smoothed inner 4.5s Chandra contours have a radius ~ 6´´.
i.e. ~ 2 × the actual positional uncertainty in the corners of the ACIS-I FoV. Typical
ROSAT PSPC positional uncertainties (~ 20´´; outer circles) in many cases
include multiple optical candidates. Chandra source IDs are less ambiguous.
