This section deals with tasks that are required to read Einstein data into PROS. The first section deals with reading FITS files from Einstein CD ROMs, the second deals with MPC data. Please note that several tasks described in previous versions of this document that convert original Einstein format files (.xpr, .img, .gzm and .exp) are now obsolete. The task sdfspec is also obsolete, as is the non-IRAF service getedata.
