Tom's POVRay Monitor Stand

The picture above was made with this demo POV file and this Monitor Stand object POV file

About this Object

This is a computer monitor stand, designed to raise a computer monitor : few inches higher. Based on a real one which is made from folded metal.

Specs

The stand starts with it's front left corner at the Y axis. It extends to the right, 12 units in +X, and to the back 12 units in +Z. The "metal" is 0.1 units thick. The stand is 2 units high. The inner radius of the bends is 0.1 units.

Problems and Future Work

The real one also has holes punched through the bottom edge, which protrude downard to make "feet", not modelled here. Also, the real one is perhaps a bit thinner metal. This would benefit from a fine bump map (perhaps bozo?), to match the look of painted metal.
