Personal Information

  • I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. I obtained my PhD in Physics and Astronomy from Macquarie University, Australia, in 2014. My research interests include interstellar medium, stellar astrophysics, multi-wavelength studies, galaxy formation and evolution, galactic outflows, extra-galactic observations, and integral field spectroscopy.

  • I have carried out research on observational astronomy at Macquarie University, Australia, since 2010, and I have been involved with the studies of planetary nebulae. I obtained my MSc in Plasma Physics from the Queen's University Belfast, UK, in which I studied linear and nonlinear structures in multi-species suprathermal plasmas in 2009. I was an early-stage researcher with the University of Craiova, Romania, in 2008, involved in quantum field theory and constrained dynamics for gravitational theories.
