A minor bug fix was made to the np2arr routine in pyds9 version 1.2
to ensure that the array is sent to ds9 in C (row-major) order. Also added
support for displaying int8, uint16, uint32, and int64 data.

Current Software Projects
Software to benefit the astronomical community and especially the
X-ray astronomy community. Current software projects include:
DS9: the latest in our
line of astronomical image display programs
XPA: simple, seamless
communication between many types of programs (e.g., Unix, X, Tcl/Tk)
Zhtools:
stand-alone tools to process FITS astronomical images and X-ray data in
general, developed by Alexey Vikhlinin
Past Projects
Funtools: FITS library
and analysis programs that hide the complexity of FITS
NCL: IRAF cl with tcsh-style line editing
SAOtng: "the next generation"
of astronomical image display (after saoimage, prior to DS9)
ASSIST: a uniform interface
to software and information (in collaboration with

Everyday Classroom Tools:
