This task generates a color map based on the x-ray color information in a PSPC image by dividing the input *.qp file into three color bands.

This creates a colormap rp90_color.map which can be accessed once the blocked image has been displayed using the color_cmap_read option of SAOimage:
xp> xdisp ``xdata$rp110590.qp[bl=30]''N.B.: It is generally necessary to enter the full address of the colormap.
